Today, Montreal singer Täbï Yösha is releasing the French version of the song Red Flag. The original recording is featured on her Pink Moon EP, released this past June via Bonsound. It is currently nominated for Soul/R&B Album or EP at the upcoming GAMIQ Awards.
On Red Flag (version française), Täbï Yösha examines the kind of signs we choose to ignore when the heart wants to believe something different. The artist explores relationships that seem written in the stars, yet are clearly imbalanced from the moment they begin. “I’m from the moon, and I meet many men who tell me they are from the sun,” she reveals.
\n Listen to Red Flag (version fran\u00e7aise)\nFor the singer, this astrology-inspired song belongs to a spiritual universe. As a Taurus, she tells the story of an encounter with a Scorpio. The intense attraction comes to an end just at the moment when everything is supposed to feel beautiful, simple, and light. The signs were already there; familiar red flags we chose not to see. One of her most danceable tracks, Red Flag (version française) turns this late realization into an irresistible groove, as if dancing were a way to move in step with the truth.
About Pink Moon
If Pink Moon were a chakra, it would be the heart chakra. With this EP, Täbï Yösha delivers an intimate body of work that unfolds like a ritual of transformation, a passage between two states of tumultuous love and of a more peaceful kind of love. Through these songs, she explores the dynamics of passion, desire, and the push-pull that shape modern relationships. For the artist, the project marks a coming of age feeling, of finally stepping into adulthood. More grounded and self-assured, she reveals a new strength in both her writing and her voice, with a sound that feels feminine and confident.
Musically, Täbï Yösha refuses to confine herself to a single territory. Moving freely between jazz, pop, and soul, and shifting effortlessly between French and English, she crafts an aural universe that is rich, organic, and accessible, where each track is a response to the previous one. The EP’s title is inspired by the Pink Moon, the full moon of early spring traditionally associated with renewal. Born under the Taurus sign, the artist feels a deep connection to this season of transition, a moment when nature (much like the heart) slowly begins to move again. Conceived as a liberation space, Pink Moon invites listeners to lay down what weighs on them and open the door to love. It’s a reminder that, despite the wounds, loving and being loved is still the most courageous act of all.
